Have I Mentioned The Love?

Tea Party love, that is. I know I have featured a few shots of tea parties.

But, seriously. This is adorable. She usually invites a few select "friends".

This time, invitations were sent via "bear post." Hopefully there will be many more such tea parties in our future.

"My Own Woof"

Well, I finally wore Mama and Dada down. We have a little white dog.
Just exactly like the one I had been describing for 6 months. She fits all the criteria. And when we got her, she even had a pink bow in her hear and a pink kerchief, too. She is my very own and she likes to hold my hand. Isn't she cute?! She is my very favorite color: White.
Her name is CHICKPEA.
We're all great friends. This was the best Christmas gift ever! And one more neat thing: she and I are only 2 days apart in age. It was meant to be. We're already working on tricks together. She can "sit", "down" (though she isn't a fan of that one), "shake" and "go to your spot". Mama says she can't manage to homeschool her and that she'll need to go to doggie school in a few weeks to "smoothe out the rough edges", whatever that means. We have big plans for Chickpea--I want to teach her how to fetch, jump through hoops and play hide and seek. Yay!

More Summer Fun!

Well, while we were waiting to close on our house (and believe me, I saw Mama bitin' her nails more than once,) we stayed with Mimi and Papa. Dada was already in Minneapolis working. We missed him, but did we ever have fun there. It was a few weeks full of mud-pies, sidewalk chalk and a great time in Mimi and Papa's back garden.

Just Organizing Mimi's Coins

This is how I organize my change.

Very, very handy, no? In this case, I guess it should be "footy".

A Lot Has Happened This Summer...

Well, my mama has certainly been remiss about blogging. Don't worry all. I've given her a stern talking to and a warning about "dawdling." But what can you do? We'll just have to pick up the pieces where we left off. We don't want to make her feel bad, so we'll just not mention it again. You know, the fact that it's January and she's just now getting around to telling you the events of last summer. Tut tut. But let's not speak of it again.

The above picture is of our lovely Logan Ave. South. We have lots of friendly trees on our street. In fact, one of the trees just down from us has what looks like a face in the bark. We admire it every time we pass by. We like to think of all the trees here as "ours."
That's me above standing in our alley way looking at our back yard. That's actually our neighbors' garage--they have two dogs. BTW, aren't my boots and bag stylin'?

There it is. We have a red door. Mama wants to paint it green, I think. Or redder, she said.

Back yard. (ahh. sunshiny. no snow. looks nice about now in mid-January)
